Group Stage

  • 3 or 4 per group (dependent on number of teams)

  • Win: 3 points, Draw: 1 point

  • First and second places advance to the knockout stage (starting with the Semifinals)

  • Draw (during knockout stage): 7m shootout (5 throws, if equal score, sudden death)

Team composition:

  • The team size is max. 9 people, with only 6 people allowed on the pitch (1 goalkeeper and 5 players, at least one women & one men)

Short overview of the Rules:

  •  Players may be substituted as often as the team prefers

  • The goalkeeper may move freely within the goal area (6-meter circle). Outside this area, they are subject to the same rules as outfield players

  • Players may take three steps without bouncing

  • If the ball goes out of bounds, the opposing team has a throw-in, whereby one foot must touch the playing boundar

  • The use of resin is not permitted

  • During a free throw, the defending team’s players must be at least three meters away from the thrower

  • If the ball leaves the field on the goals’ sides and a player (not goalkeeper) touches the ball last: goalkeeper’s ball or corner; if the goalkeeper touches the ball last: goalkeeper’s ball.
