Each team member has to run one round which is approx. 200m long. The baton musst be passed from hand-to-hand within a 20-meter exchange zone. The race is completed when the last runner of the team crosses the finish line while holding the baton.

• 3 to 4 teams per group (dependent on number of teams)

• 1st place of each race advances to the Final run

Team composition:

•  A Realy Race team consists of 2 males and 2 females.

Rules:

• A false start occurs if a runner leaves before the starting signal. Two false starts lead to team disqualification

• Physical interference with other teams is strictly prohibited and results in the disqualification of the entire team.

• If the baton is not passed within the 20-meter exchange zone, the pass is considered illegal, and the team is disqualified

• Throwing the baton is prohibited and results in the disqualification of the entire team
