Short description of the sports discipline:
Play until one team scores 12 points. The game must be won with a difference of at least 2 points.
Team composition:
6 players on the floor at any one time: 3 in the front row and 3 in the back row.
If a team does not have enough female/male players, another team gets +5 points (at least one female and male on the field)
Maximum of 9 people in the team.
Short overview of the Rules:
Maximum of 3 touches per side.
Each team must rotate one position after winning a serve from the opposing team. Players must maintain their rotational order but can quickly switch positions after the service contact.
The server must serve from behind the end line until after contact
Points are made on every serve for the winning team of the rally (rally-point scoring).
A player may not hit the ball twice in succession. (A block is not considered a hit).
The ball may touch the net during a rally. A served ball may graze the net and drop to the other side for a point.
A ball is out if it hits an antenna, the floor completely outside the court, the net or cables outside the antennae, the referee stand or pole, the ceiling above a non-playable area.
A player cannot block or attack a serve from on or inside the 10-foot line
Stepping in the half of the opposite team, as well as touching the net with any part of the body, will be considered a foul.
